C.A.R.E
Centre of Autism Resourceful Education
Despite autism sometimes being viewed as a terrible and tragic condition, our philosophy has been one of acceptance and inclusion. Under C.A.R.E. (Centre of Autism Resourceful Education), we view ASD as a different way of being, sometimes difficult though, but challenging, but nonetheless, as valid as other children.
Our foundation respects this difference and we approach all our activities with this paradigm of acceptance and understanding. Through the Centre of Autism Resourceful Education, we provide the following support or therapies –
Speech Therapy

Occupational & Sensory Intervention
Music Therapy

Behaviour Therapy

Workshop for Teachers on Early intervention of Autism
We organize impactful workshops collaborating with educational institutes for educators as part of our commitment to fostering awareness and understanding of autism which focuses on early intervention of autism.
Recently, 65 dedicated kindergarten and primary school teachers in the district benefited from a workshop conducted by Radhabai Shinde English Medium School, Kolhapur. The interactive session, led by Deepa Shipurkar, President of Aman Foundation Kolhapur provided valuable insights on early signs and symptoms recognizing autism among children, believing that with timely diagnosis, children with autism can still lead fulfilling lives and become self-sufficient. Our president taught different ways to help these kids learn and develop using visual aids. Also Staff and parents along with their children from CARE presented a skit/street play on autism awareness during this workshop.
