C.A.R.E

Aman Foundation
A foundation that views the interdependence of people OF every ability as valuable and enriching, as well as seeking to provide equal opportunities for all.
Despite autism sometimes being viewed as a terrible and tragic condition, our philosophy has been one of acceptance and inclusion. Under C.A.R.E. (Centre of Autism Resourceful Education), we view ASD as a different way of being, sometimes difficult though, but challenging, but nonetheless, as valid as the non-autistic.
Our foundation respects this difference and we approach all our activities with this paradigm of acceptance as well as understanding. Through Centre of Autism Resourceful Education, we provide the following supports or therapies –

Remedial Education

Our remedial education support focuses on imparting the core skills or 3 R’s Education (Reading, writing and Arithmetic). It is a basic catch-up education for autism students of a certain age who have fallen below minimum standards in the areas of literacy and numeracy skills.

Behavioural Therapy

Behaviour therapy for autism is applied to different types of behaviour analysis that are used to help children succeed at reaching positive goals and distinguish negative behaviours. Optimally, our trained therapists work one-on-one for several hours per week with kids when using this therapy.

Activities of Daily Living

Some of the major activities of daily living tasks include personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, and eating. We focus on self-care performance in children with autism spectrum disorder.

Speech Therapy

We supervise various types of therapies including speech therapy that addresses challenges with language and communication. It helps people with autism improve their verbal, nonverbal, and social communication. Our overall goal is to help the person communicate in more useful and functional ways.

Music Therapy

We supervise music therapy with the help of experts in this domain that helps children with Autism spectrum disorder to improve their skills in important areas such as social interaction and communication. Music therapy may also contribute to increasing social adaptation skills in children with ASD and to promoting the quality of parent‐child relationships.

Occupational Therapy

In addition, a lot of people with autism may have difficulties in motor skills as well as coordination that also may come in the way of learning. We take appropriate strategies with the help of experts to deal with these sensory and motor difficulties that can go a long way in improving learning and general functioning in the lives of persons with autism.
Under the umbrella of C.A.R.E. We facilitate an inclusive and barrier free environment that enables the empowerment of persons with ASD and their families. We have been helping them with the above mentioned therapies to help them bring back to normal life. The therapies we provide act as a catalyst for change that enables persons with autism spectrum disorder to live as fully participating members of the community.

Social Communication Programs

Kids who are functionally more able and based in mainstream schools might find difficulties to follow group instructions, like daily routines of classrooms, maintaining notebooks, sitting during transitions, etc. To address such difficulties faced by kids with autism in mainstream schools, our program replicates classroom situations through fun activities and builds upon social skills necessary with peers and adults.

Occupational & Sensory Intervention
